INDUSTRIAL DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Ski equipment, kitchen appliance, agricultural machinery, avalanche rescue equipment, access systems, footwear, e-bikes, gardening tools, helmets & glasses, freeride & alpine touring gear. Nussbaumer Design creates unique products for major brands. The sporting goods origin leave their imprint on every detail. Design, functionality, craftmanship and carful choice of materials are engineered to innovative and puristic products.

ERGONOMICS & USER EXPERIENCE

Having grown specialized in the design of sports equipment, we have not only acquired a profound knowledge of human factors for specific product groups, but also have become experts on the processes that need to be put in place when developing products. Our iterative rounds of testing and prototyping refine the design based on testing feedback, to eliminate issues and help to reach best practices.

PROTOTYPING & PRODUCT VALIDATION

In-house or with our partner network we’re able to provide fully functional prototypes for field testing, key account presentations and use experience sessions. We personally follow up.

BRAND-STRATEGIC DESIGN

Our work is not only most efficient when we work on ranges rather than designing single products. Something we have acquired expertise on over the years:
Defining a brand-specific, unique, recognizable and lasting design language including packaging and POS solutions.

Designer

Elisa Mengascini was born in July, 1993 in a small but enchanting coast village at the foot of Monte Conero. Inherited the passion for every kind of art from her mum, an abstract painter, she chose to dedicate her life to design taking a bachelor's degree with top scores in Industrial Design in the Poliarte Design School (Ancona). She is now pride to express her passion and creativity as a part of Nussbaumer's team. When not at work, she loves freeing her mind practising open air sports, travelling, taking photos and cuddling her lovely cats.
