Having grown specialized in the design of sports equipment, we have not only acquired a profound knowledge of human factors for specific product groups, but also have become experts on the processes that need to be put in place when developing products. A Austrian-born with roots in a artisans family he graduated at Scuola politecnica di Design. After working in international design-agencies in Salzburg, Milan and Boston, founds and directs one of most successful innovation driven italian ID-agencies. His team of designers and engineers wins over 100 international design and industry awards. He leads a small and flexible, highly specialized design & engineering team, offering integral high-end design-solutions. Christoph is a inspired by technology and hands-on to make things happen. Specialist in applied ergonomics, sports biomechanics and brand strategy. He can be found ski-touring the Alps, on his cyclocross bike or in his printmaking studio.
Federica Zobbi was born in 1988 in a little mountain village near Reggio Emilia. She holds a bachelor's degree in design at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Milan. Since 2010 she works as graphic designer and product concept developer for Nussbaumer Design. When not attached at her lovely Mac she can be found taking a stroll in the countryside, rereading classic books, eating (inter)national cuisine or taking the sights of enchanted villages around Italy.
Simone Madella was born in May 1988 in a small town called Mantua. His first job was to decorate the school desk, even if the salary was not really pleasing: notes from professors and slapped by his mother. So as soon as the opportunity presented itself he embarked on a ship called the European Institute of Design, departing to Turin and unknown arriving. Simone join at firs as cabin boy and ended the adventure as first sergeant . After that it started his pilgrimage around various Italian design studios. He travelled from Milan to Rome, till a cold day in mid-December, when he was recalled in his native land for a new mission.
Maurizio holds a degree in jewellery design and works as modelmaker since more than two decades. He jones Nussbaumer Design in 1998 and is familiar with almost any kind of material and modelmaking technique including rapid protoyping. Maurizio is an outdoor freak, gourtmet, skier and keeps his adrenalin high fighting in softair battles.
Enrico Leoni was born in July 1993 in Reggio Emilia. He studied Product Design at Politecnico of Milan where he took a bachelor degree in 2015. He now works in Nussbaumer Design. He loves to spend his free time practicing outdoor sports as alpine climbing, ski, sail boat and mountain bike; he is also addicted to weird foods and cooking.
Elisa Mengascini was born in July, 1993 in a small but enchanting coast village at the foot of Monte Conero. Her first but naive approach with project design is about the creation of a Lolly Pop's supporter to avoid sticking her hand while eating. She was only 6 years old at that time! Inherited the passion for every kind of art from her mum, an abstract painter, she chose to dedicate her life to design taking a bachelor's degree with top scores in Industrial Design in the Poliarte Design School (Ancona). She is now pride to express her passion and creativity as a part of Nussbaumer's team. When not at work, she loves freeing her mind practising open air sports, travelling, taking photos and cuddling her lovely cats.
